I am really excited to announce a new collection of note cards based on work produced during the month of March. As I wrote about earlier, I committed to creating a piece of art a day in March based on emotion. It was a fascinating and fruitful challenge. From the work created, I have posted a dozen or so new images. I hope you will check them out on my site. The variety is as great as I have found my emotions to be. Enjoy! Yup March has arrived. The time of green beer, March madness and this year an early Easter. For me, this March will be about connecting with my emotions and creating from that space, as I have made a commitment to create something everyday based on my feelings. I will be participating in this experiment with a group of people online and am hoping to post some of my work. We'll see if I can keep the judgement at bay remembering that it is not necessarily what is created that is important but rather being present to the process, and trying...
Happy January... well just. I know the month has escaped me - as did most of last fall and winter as my family was sick, traveling, sick, holidays, back to school... wow - just starting to be grounded again. I created this face several months ago amid the chaos of life. Her name is Allie. She is made primarily of fall blooming mums. I was encouraged to bring her to life by my niece Megan who loved her. I hope you do to! Looking forward to creating more this year and sharing it with you... to beginning again.
Super excited to let you all know that you can now find my cards in a fabulous shop in Old Town Pasadena, called Lula Mae, 100 North Fair Oaks Avenue. If you live in the area, stop by, she has my holiday cards and several other fun faces - not to mention a shop full of beautiful gifts! Happy Friday! p.s. If there is a store in your area that you think would be perfect for my cards, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
So I created several holiday faces... and they are sweet cards! "Nick with Hat" and "Evergreen". Come check them out!
